One of our questions come up to your mind during planning Egypt trip , when is the best to travel to Egypt !
There is no best time but it depends on your choice & the type of the trip if it cultural trip , Nile cruise trip (upper Egypt from Luxor to Aswan ) or Red sea adventure trip so we recommend the ideal period in the winter from October till April for the warm climate.

Visas
It could be in Advanced from Egyptian embassy in your country but it’s easier and cheaper to get it on arrival at Cairo airport

The credit cards are accepted in the large restaurants , hotels and shops

Can I use US dollars in Egypt?
US dollars as well as other currencies such as Euros, Pounds and Canadian dollars are accepted in Egypt. However, it is best to exchange your foreign currency into Egyptian pounds as your money will tend to go much further. There are several places to exchange money in Egypt, from currency exchange shops to banks. Cairo International airport has several 24-hour banks that will provide the same exchange rates as those in the cities or towns.
Egypt Nile Cruise Tips
All the Nile cruises “all inclusive”, i.e. accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, and transportation. We would recommend, for health and safety reasons, to choose only the five star or 5 star + Nile cruises! The cost for one-night accommodation ranges between $90 and $150 per person per night in a double room. Today there are more than 300 Nile cruisers on the Nile between Luxor and Aswan 4 star, standard 5 stars, and 5 stars deluxe and imperial Ultra Deluxe ( luxury ).

03 Nights Cruise departs from Aswan to Luxor
04 Nights Cruise departs from Luxor to Aswan
What to know when on a Nile Cruise
Food on board
Accommodation aboard the Nile cruise is entirely based on full board basis. (All meals are included ) mostly in an open buffet with many varieties, depending on type and quality of the cruise boat you have selected; these meals are served with a fixed timetable each day.
Tea and coffee are available on board, Other drinks are offered in the bar area are with additional cost.
Dress Code
During the daytime, while touring, you can wear whatever you really like it is recommended you wear lightweight clothes.
While relaxing on board, you may wear shorts and swimming costumes if you wish. Breakfast and lunch can be taken dressed like this, but for dinner
Nightlife
Every day there is an entertainment program , as a “Galabia party”, where you will be encouraged to get Egyptian outfits and wear the local Galabia. To buy a Galabia, it will cost you around 50-70 LE, but if you do not wish to buy one, you can buy one from the bazaar shop during the tour
- The Nubian show, where you will see Nubian dancers and singers in their local outfit ,belly dancing show and a juggler’s show (whirling dervishes) with local singers and bands.
Tipping:
Don’t forget to leave tips for the cruise staff, not less than $ 5-8 USD PER PERSON PER DAY!
This tipping should be given to the boat reception, simply put your tip in an envelope and hand it over to boat reception. This money later will be distributed evenly among the crew onboard. This way each person will get his fair share.

Health and Vaccinations
You should ensure you are fully insured for medical emergencies including emergency evacuation and repatriation. Recommended vaccinations and other health protection measures vary according to the country you are visiting and where you are travelling from.
